Lower Antelope Canyon Lady in the Wind

LADY IN THE WIND

Antelope Canyon, Arizona

THE STORY. . . If you’re into the landscape photography scene, then chances are pretty good you’ve heard of Antelope Canyon. In fact, I’d even go so far as to say that this destination is probably on your bucket list. In the last ten years, this Arizona slot canyon has reached legendary status in the landscape world. Carved by centuries of rushing water, the striated rock walls flow like colorful ribbons of silk. In many cases, these curving passages take the shape of spiritual beings.

Featured here, the Lady in the Wind can be seen throwing her head back as her long flowing hair waves in the breeze. Layers of rock rise towards the sky, producing an other-worldly scene unlike anything else on the planet.
