Western Colorado is home to some of the most spectacular mountains in all of North America. The San Juans are often overlooked in the grand scheme of all things Rocky Mountains. Yet make no mistake, this chain of jagged, snow-capped monoliths offer striking vistas of the Great American West. In the fall, endless aspen groves cover the landscape, their saffron leaves cascading into a sea of gold as the autumn snow storms foreshadow the coming of winter.
