Spring Snow Red Cherry Blossom Tree

RED CHERRY TREE IN SNOW

Colorado Springs, Colorado

THE STORY. . .

Honey Bee Captain, “Okay girls, who wants to go first?”

Bee Sergeant, “. . . .”

Bee Lieutenant, “. . . .”

Honey Bee Captain, “Good call. Snow day.”

Spring time in Colorado. The cherry branches are exploding with bright pink blossoms when, out of nowhere, a monster snow storm rolls through town. Suddenly, all of our cotton candy trees are covered in powdered sugar. This explosion of visual cocaine is almost too much to comprehend as I scurry around with my camera, shooting furiously as the snow continues to pour down. Then, just when you have time to catch your breath, the sun comes out and melts everything away! Sorry Bee Team, time to get back to work. . .
